Training on the Concentro is a crucial component of the athlete’s development and plyometric training programs. Movements targeting both the upper and lower body, which more closely mirror cyclic activities (i.e., activities where the eccentric phase precedes the concentric phase), such as running, jumping, and throwing, can be performed with body weight or with loads that are either less than or greater than body weight. Furthermore, the downward motion of the arm accelerates at a 2:1 ratio, resulting in an enhanced stretch reflex upon contact during non-constant contact exercises.
